Congrats to the Giants on a heck of a post season. It's a big deal hope the fans have had a blast with it.

To bad Sue and her Tigers couldn't have had a better run. It's the way it goes and all that, but a close series has all the action and excitement.

I guess momentum is the most crucial thing in the postseason. Even a triple crowner can't stop it.

Let's be candid. Detroit never had on their war face. They looked defeated from the moment Verlander got his ass handed to him. I wouldn't have thought a sweep, but it doesn't surprise me, either.

Drives me nuts when the coverage feels like they're rooting for team, and in this instance, Fox seemed to want the sweep. They'd never dare do that to the Yankees. I'm not anti-Yankees. I like to watch hard-fought sports, and the Yankees usually give that. Getting sidetracked here. But I did feel like Fox was excited about the idea of a sweep and was outwardly pessimistic about the Tigers.

And Erin Andrews sucks. I watched her mangle a college football show the other day prior to the WS game. She can't even read her notecards with any grace. It's one thing to assign her a hack position on the sidelines, but to head a broadcast? I liked that Bud Selig took her microphone. I've seen her rail other sportscasters newer to the game than her about "never let your subject take the microphone" as if she's reading from the 10 Commandments of Sportscasting. She obviously didn't get the position on merit, and that agitates me.
