Why exactly does this comment make you sad??? When a child is teething and hurting why is a tiny amount of pot baked in a brownie BAD? Is this worse than any of the aspirins, or ibuprofens, or teething meds that have far more side effects?
The key word there being "baked", if that's your medication choice (although frozen teething rings are the least intrusive, most effective method of all for that problem, IMHO). It's no better for kids to be around second hand smoke than it is for adults; they'll end up with more respiratory infections as a result. There's no way pot smoke is not a lung irritant, even if it doesn't have the millions of toxins that tobacco smoke does. I have to admit that I still haven't bonded much with either ingesting or vaporizing, but for heaven's sake if you've got kids (or nonsmoking friends, for that matter) around, spare them the second-hand pollution and use another method or go somewhere else.
Of course, if you're not talking to your kids openly about what you're doing and why, nothing much else matters anyway.
