I don't know if that would work. Both great keyboardists, but different styles. However, a ramble at TC maybe,

Melvin just has such a FEEL for the music. Maybe a sit-in, he would definitely bring something good to the table-

Looks like DSO is doing Pine Knob '91, I was there!
But JGB is sounding too exquisitely pretty right now to turn off!
