I have reunited with several "lost" family and friends on FB. I am very happy it exists.

I have a lot of friends on the message boards and have made a lot of friends, but facebook a good way to keep in touch with family and friends who aren't into the Dead/Furthur/P&F/Ratdog/etc scene. I don't do any of the apps, though. I grow a veggie garden in my backyard; I don't need a farm on facebook.

I have a really big family I am horrible with Birthdays. Its a nice way to keep in touch with people I usually would have never seen again. I don't see anything wrong with it except for the fact that there are too many people who put on this cyber mask and act like everything is peaches and cream everyday. Some people take it way to far with games and the stupid freekin game requests. There are a million ways to fritter and waste your life online there.
