Yes, I've listened to and watched Phish many times over the years. I think they're nice guys and decent musicians but terrible improvisers and absolutely god-awful song writers. I wish I did like it more, but I just don't. I like and listen to lots of different music, from rock to classical, but haven't been able to develop a taste for Phish. Oh well!

thanks splatter and lets not forgot mike gorden bassplayer for phish playing at the tri show for jerrrys bday. as for jamming skills thay are top notch lyrics ...ill give ya that one but hey zappa was similiar in style not everyone wants or write story telling songs,i happen to like the storytelling songs too btw

I have to admit that I had fun at their shows. When they play covers that is cool, I mean pulling out Little Feat's Mercenary Territory, that was awesome! For my money however, give me Furthur every time.

no doubt i enjoy furthur and the grateful dead way more but theres more to life was all im saying to each their own

People...here's the deal: When (not if, cuz no one lives forever) the band decides that it is time to "move on to other things" and stop touring, you can BET they will be very up front with the news. Because when that announcement is made, you guarantee sold out shows everywhere for that final tour. Who wouldn't want to be out on the last dance? Fact is that there have been shows this year that did not sell out. What better way to call it a day than to cal it a day and let everyone know what the score is? When that time comes, we will all be clued in. Make no mistake about it.
