Well its the Tigers and A's this weekend. Its going to be good. Im almost as excited as the Giants. My question is do you want to have a little wager. I will bet you the A's take the series. Bet you a pin or patch or any little kinda souviner.

While Oakland is hot and has a crapload of MO, I like the Tigers in this series. Verlander and Fister pitching at home is going to be a tall order for those rookies.

I was hoping it would turn out this way, it'll be fun to have something to banter about this weekend. The way the Lions are going, I'm all for a little baseball distraction on their bye week. Now it just remains to be seen which Tiggers will show up, the ones that can hit and throw strikes, or the ones that get the pants beat off them by teams like the Rockies. Sure hope it's the good guys, I'm ready for some wins! How about a wager, but an easy one: loser buys drinks or snacks for the first show we're at together? I'm open to other suggestions as well.

Whatever the team does, I have to give a big standing ovation (props to the KC fans for doing the same last night) to MIGUEL CABRERA, TRIPLE CROWN CHAMP!!!! First time in 45 years, since is good old Carl Yastrzemski did it in 1967. What an amazing feat of offense! Let's hope he keeps it up and can hit us to a World Series championship!!!
