One thing I loved about this last spring tour by Furthur is the revisiting of some old Dead tunes, I'd grown to love, but have but on the back shelf of memory(Viola Lee, Caution, Alligator, Lost>Saint, New Speedway, Here Comes Sunshine.). I guess as a long time "head" you go through peaks and valleys with songs. So right now, I'm loving:
The Grateful Dead circa 1985- More specifically, Red Rocks, Providence Center, Alpine, and Fox Theater.
The Grateful Dead circa 1972-1974- Winterland, Boston Music Hall, RFK.
Also really been getting into Phil's buddy and upcoming talent Jackie Greene. Really amazing stuff. Check his birthday show and Phil's birthday show.
And still listen to and love Bright Eyes. Great different and folk-y!!
