not trying to scare you at all, just passing on some friendly advice. on the whole, the "bad" parts of San Francisco aren't that bad at all. i walk this area of SF late at night when i go to shows and have never had a problem.
Got my flight and hotel booked. Staying a 2 blocks from the Whitcomb, at some flea bag place called the Aida. It was super cheap so I guess I get what I paid for. Anyways, I'm there and can cross this one off the bucket list.
