its worth it, food onsite, but bring your own anyway, ice and showers and good vibes with a shuttle.. better that the reg camping.

Why bother?, It's a lot more mellow, QUIETER, but the gorge camp ground is always the better scene, tons of vending, drum circles, etc... security sucks but security always sucks. theres an ol folks, quiet campground(lights out at 12 or 1am or something) at the gorge anyway. When the tour was huge, wildhorse might have been the one for a quiet alternative, but as of late it's just not that crowded on this tour. The gorge is always a blast, the view, the show, and the campground is just part of the experience.

after camping there 2 different times, my firm answer is no. too small. too many "quiet" people. got sick from the food. overall boring. camp in the main lot. much more fun.
