OMG I was typing a post about this very thing but just before hitting "submit" I decided it may be too preachy. So I hit cancel and see this. It's a sign. Here was the preachy part:

Millions, possibly billions, of people are starving in this world and all I see on the news is the waaaaaay over the top pomp and circumstance surrounding the wedding of two people who are mere figureheads of days gone by. How 'bout taking the money, even half of it, and give it to the poor? Disgusting.....

I don't get it. I guess thats why we are Americans. But I wanted some news yesterday after a long day of work and boarding (lol) and all I get is this nonsense. I could care less about the carriage they will be riding in! Rant! I'm with Lynx. Use that money in a positive way.

The whole country seems to be fascinated with the royal couple, I wish them congratulations and a happy marriage and now I'm done with the subject.

Not just the British either , world wide the rich need to free up some of that money for the poor and the working classes
