can't wait to see this guitar in action. looks like 24 frets and has that PRS style tuners at the top of the headstock, very nice. I love all of the guitars he plays but I think I'm a lil partial to his Carvin even though he said it was an experiment that thing really sounded nice... The PRS sings too can't wait to hear this thing.

The top is cocobolo like tiger and rosebud, It has a roland synth and a piezo for acoustic, the coils can be split and the effects come before the volume ala jerry. it is an alembic so it is handmade in Santa Rosa CA, took about 9 months to build, check out the alembic site they have a section where you can see raw wood blanks and pick which one you want, be warned we are talking 6,000 to 15,000 here. also alembic does not sponsor artists so john had to pay full price just like jerry and phil did in the 70's

I just hope it weights less than Jerry's guitars. Weren't his like 11 lbs or something? No wonder he started looking a little beat up.

It is about 8.5 pounds versus tiger which was 13.5
