Sorry 83msg I should have thought more on the wording.. I meant the music is in us and we carry it on. The band Furthur is temp simple because all things that start end...What the GD tapped into is of cosmic orgin and is eternal. The music plays the bandTurn on, Tune in, Drop out

I so hope its permanent. I freakin love Furthur. I've seen the Dead (03 and 09), P & F and Ratdog, and Furthur blows them out of the WATER in my opinion. But, hey, if not, whatever! long as they're still making music, I'll be there to support them... even if its through virtualness at Terrapin Landing and TRI!-

"nothin's for certain...."
That said, I agree all things in this existence are temporary. Thus Furthur, like the Grateful Dead and every one else, are only temporary.
Cliff Notes Version of the article:
Ratdog has unfinished business, The Dead will be resurrected, and there will even be some P&F shows, most likely after the completion of Terrapin Landing. Furthur seems here to stay as long as they can....-

sounds like they enjoy furthur but still want to be able to branch out and do other projects ,which i think is very smart i would hate to see furthur become like the collosus the dead was at the end with angry mobs in the lot, switching things up will help to tame the beast possiblyIf i told ya all that went down,it would burn off both your ears -
