we all know about DSO and Play Dead and the other big cover bands (arguably Furthur but lets not get into that here) but i wanna hear the true fans playing their favorite songs. If you have ever recorded your band or yourself just playing dead songs post them and lets give em a listen. My dead cover band (more of two kids with acoustic guitars getting stoned and having fun) is called the Ugly Rumors and heres our uncle johns band (kinda incomplete but who cares)

I've never heard of the republic is that your band or one you know tommy?

The republic was a band I was in.

We played from 2004 - 2008 and then a couple of the guys moved back east.
