This show was a ton of fun, the band ripped it up out of the gate. Warren Zevon and Charlie Daniels Band opened.

Another era. Imagine if this happened when the internet was around?
Rumors were floating but alot of people were wondering who the new guy was..

Love how they brought back GSET with a whole new feel when Brent came aboard. I have a special place inside me for this song, if you couldn't already tell from my username . They did bust it out for Keith and Donna last show.

Brent brought a whole new light on many songs. Personal favorites include Cassidy, Estimated and many more love his high harmonies he brought and a new energy that carried the band Furthur.......

I love Brent....particular favorites from him....

We Can Run - which just came on as I type this
Blow Away
Just A Little Light
Far From Me

and of course.... I Will Take You Home ......Love that song. Found myself with my hands thrown in the air while tripping the other night and Brent was singin that one, right out of a really far out Space as well, I think.

"They did bust it out for Keith and Donna last show."
one of my favorite versions, Jerry is on fire from the start.
It's interesting to listen to the 2 shows, Keith and Donna's last and Brent's 1st just a couple of months apart

Jerry was saying something about having new "textures" in the sound, Brent bringing something different to the jams n songs. I love the 1st Shakedown's w/Breat, they stretched it out and he went off on the synth. Also, the NFA's w/Brent's going wild on the B-3. He definitely helped find new territory like that '79 Pitt show with the wild funky jams, the one with the 2nd set CC Rider.

Hmmm the show list says Greg Kihn Band, not Warren Zevon...32 years? yikes
