Reading that, I don't immediately think of it as negative. Obviously if there's more to the story, or eye witnesses to share their experience... that's different. But as it stands...

Right, so for all we know, it was a Jay/Joe "fued"...

Seems like much ado about nothing, if you ask me.

I was standing right there when this happened, close to the side stage. And this is pretty accurate of how it went down. Except if my memory serves me correctly, Russo didn't 'stop' playing, the sound man cut his sound and you could see him waiiling but you couldn't hear it over the speakers. Then he threw his sticks in 'fuck it' sorta way and left his kit. It was pretty funny, one of those, did this just happen moments. This was the first thing that came to mind when I heard who was going to be in furthur. I never saw it that Joe was pissed, he is Bob Weir for Christ's sake! But Ratdog was way over their time and the Duo only had a 30 or 45 minute set. Definately a story I've repeated a time or 2

no sense in Russo being angry , does he think the Duo gets their way over Ratdog ?
