This will be short but sweet. It has been well-documented as to the creepy and anti-progressive policies that the Koch brothers support. Their major holdings are very difficult to boycott -- other than the promotion of clean energy and environmental laws, you may be stuck buying their energy products, directly or indirectly. However, they do produce some consumer products that you should put to memory to NEVER purchase again.

They are below the fold:

(Georgia-Pacific products)

Angel Soft toilet paper
Brawny paper towels
Dixie plates, bowls, napkins and cups
Mardi Gras napkins and towels
Quilted Northern toilet paper
Soft 'n Gentle toilet paper
Sparkle napkins
Vanity fair napkins
Zee napkins
Georgia-Pacific paper products and envelopes
All Georgia-Pacific lumber and building products *more detailed list below*

(INVISTA Products)*more below*

Stainmaster Carpet

Thank you for your attention.

Thanks to RhodaA for the quote of the Think Progress article that provides a good synopsis of the Kochs' influence and activities:

This morning, the New Yorker’s Jane Mayer published an explosive investigative piece detailing the role of the Koch family in orchestrating not only the Tea Party movement, but much of the modern right-wing infrastructure. The brothers David and Charles Koch, heirs to the oil and chemical conglomerate Koch Industries, have founded or funded dozens of conservative or libertarian publications, think tanks, and attack groups. Their father, Fred Koch, similarly fueled the paranoid right-wing movements of the fifties and sixties through his financing of the John Birch Society.

Mayer’s piece builds off the original reporting conducted by ThinkProgress since the very beginning of the Tea Party movement. Here’s a review of what we’ve reported [one of many]:

– ThinkProgress reported how a variety of right-wing fronts supported by the Koch family and its political deputies not only helped overturn nearly a hundred years in campaign finance law in the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling, but also is lobbying aggressively against the DISCLOSE Act, which would provide transparency into the campaign spending for plutocrats like the Koch family.

I always buy Marcal when I can. They have been using recycled paper for 60 years and are located right over the GW Bridge in NJ. I like to buy local and keep the money in the community.

Standing ovation.
Thank You. These crooks are trying to take over pretty much everything. I see no mention of the "scientific" studies they have funded to try to distort the global warming issue. Funny how the studies all report that global warming is not happening. These guys are the true enemy of the American working and middle class.

Some say both parties are the same. Just look at what Koch is doing, using the Republicans, Tea Party and their easily manipulated masses to put a new face on an old game... to reverse basic environmental, election funding and workers rights laws to make yet more money on your back and mine..check out the history of the John Birch Society.
