Well, the term "Head" has been used for years to describe someone who was a fan of a band, or even a particular lifestyle.
I am a Deadhead, because I like the Dead. But I am also a "Hophead" because I like beer with a lot of hops. See how it's used?

So many times I've been stopped in public and asked "Are you hippies?" and "Are you in a show? Why are you dressed up?" and the all time winner "Are you in the circus?"
No these are just my regular clothes and yes I made them myself
