What do you guys think of this cover? I hadn't really gotten into it until today when a co-worker was listening to Furthur at work and it came on. I found myself enjoying it so I played it again on the way home and I think I like it now! So that's a thumbs up from me I guess.

I've really enjoyed it from the first time I heard them play it, John sings it with such feeling and sincerity, the lyrics are beautiful and they ring true.

It's a nice song. I'm not really familiar with Ryan Adams work. I know he played with Phil, but that's about it.I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.

I love the song. I saw a version that Phil And Friends did back at the Warfield some years ago (Joan sang it.. I think that was the night that Ryan Adams was sick and could not be at the show) that really did it for me. I have loved the song ever since (though I am not a big fan of the Ryan Adams version).Last Edit: 2 years, 1 month ago by Skullcap. -
