Cool. Seems like people here just like the fact that if it can make it to show, then let it fly.

I find it kind of hard that there won't be a little shakedown at tc. 12 day run in the bay area. There's a little parking lot, actually there's two of them.

Who is going to have the flag at tc. I want to pick it up there ( doesn't matter which day) and take it to bob and Bruce. Then I will FedEx next day air to Burt, if he wants for the furthur show.

In a way, we already have a record of the flag with this thread and the photos we have and may post here. It's nothing tangible though since it's in cyberspace.

^^good point,we could also make a new thread, wheres the flag today where was it yesterday people can post pics of themselves with it the venue ,newcomers etc would be cool if the band stopped by,i know chances of that happening are slim but hey like the lottery says "ya never know"

If people want to go through the motions of taking the flag to a show, then they should. One original intent was to pass it around.

How many people at the show shouldn't matter.

Just be responsible with the flag, including making sure it gets to the next venue.

It would be very cool to have the flag make an appearance at every show possible, regardless of how many people are going to be there.

It lieu of, or in addition to, a notebook going around with the flag for people to sign, I think we should make a point to have the flag photographed at every show it attends. Be it in the parking lot, in front of the venue, in the show, by itself, with others, whatever. It can take on a personality of it's own and we can live vicariously thru the flag! Maybe it will end up seeing more shows this year than any one of us!

maybe we should post any pictures and updates from the flag there, kind of like a timeline of the flag. That way we have one thread for all of the flag's adventures!

Based on Tim's wonderful thread roll calling the upcoming shows, we'll be able to see who's going where so hand offs can be made to save on shipping costs.
