I've been lucky, many a time I had the home stereo CRANKED way up,Phil would drop a bomb and I swore that by the time I reached the volume knob there'd be nothing but smoke coming out of the speakers

that's why the speakers and head unit in my car are worth more than my ride! i've never trusted an auto manufacturer to be able to handle the music i put on....always the first thing I replace....the best in car production stereo i've ever seen in a car was a Harman-Kardon. Oddly enough I'm fairly certain infinity's have bose systems in them still right?? and oddly enough the bose production subwoofers for cars i have seen blow out numerous times....from pink floyd, tool, nine inch nails, and GD. if its a new car bring it back to the dealership and tell them to fix that horrendous problem on their 'premium' stereo!
Last Edit: 2 years, 5 months ago by Dire Wolf. Reason: never mind JBL in your car not Bose, higher end replacements are obviously necessary
