I got the flac files of the deluxe edition off pirate bay before it was in the stores. Just read a too short interview with him in Rolling Stone, I think he had recorded some stuff with Clapton like 10 years ago that sat in the can until recently. This new release reminds me how much I liked all his other solo work. To bad it looks like he won't tour, but maybe Bob and Phil can get him to play in L.A. in October? Pop in for a few songs, come on...

saw levon in vancouver last summer, his voice was a little ragged but he went with it and the band was killer, costello--not lou--did some tunes with him, a great show
