It's interesting hearing Ratdog and Phil/Friends so close together. Reminds me that they really are two different animals. This is sounding pleasant, but not nearly as intense or interesting as last weekends shows.

Keep in mindt this is a one-off performance that includes some musicians who have never even played together before. Just a big jam session, really. For what it is, it's pretty entertaining, IMO, but I don't think it's a fair representation of Ratdog on a good night.

good deal - was nice seeing that again. Only had a couple minor issues with it skipping 2 or 3 times

just started watching the 8 o'clock show and so far I am really digging the mellow, casual vibe that this show has...
The Sailor, coming out again, the lady fairly leapt at him.
That's how it stands today. You decide if he was wise.

"No, fuck that, make some noise . . ." who said that? That was funny. I remember thinking that at my first West coast show.

Er uh, I don't think I've heard Ratdog before recently. Thoroughly enjoying this as I did the original simulcast. It is very jazzy, and mellow, sure am loving from the comfort of home. I don't know what I expected, other than Bobby saying, "HAH!" WHich he didn't. Yeah SS last weekend was ripping; "interesting," granted a very subjective word. That said, P&F was very interesting. It is cool listening to these two back to back. Imagine a Ratdog, P&F, MH Band , Furthur festival weekend.

Drummer Jay Lane, said the FU.

But I didn't catch what happened before that. Someone in the crowd must have said, Should we be quiet., Or are we too loud.

Two difference approaches, for sure. The one common thread is Jeff C. He's amazing.

The big difference to me is that Bob is the leader of this band, who likes to be in control. While Phil just does his thing keeping it tight (or crazy loose as the case may be) and letting others take the lead.
