just a heads up for any gardners its time to start your second crops for the fall.the heat wave took a toll on my peas got very few and the vines just all turned brown almost overnite even with watering ? my brocolli is just about done first time growing it learned that they need the actual spoace the package says tried to cram more into the spot and they grew leggy got some decent heads but they flowered too soon.cauliflower is coming so are the eggplants and tomatoes are doing great peppers too bout ready to harvest more spring mix salad tomorrow we had some windy days some of my small sunflower plants got knocked over i harvested the flowers and got some seeds what peas i did get we ate uncooked on rice they are cruncy and have a nutty flavor like that i prefer it to mushy cooked ones anyway just wanted to share getting tired time for bed soon

for years I tried growing strawberry's and they either never did that great or grew to big or the chipmunks/birds always got them... now this year the remaining plants that haven't been taken care of in years are doing better on their own then ever before

Ahh cool .. growing strawberries has proven to be impossible for me.
I went walkin' out last summer
Tryin' to find a breath of air
I went walkin' on the mountain
A friend had told me I'd find you there
