Average Price For "Convenience Fees" For Tickets

#117999 2 years, 5 months ago
Holy crap Batman ! I purchased Phil tickets yesterday. I got ga floors, for $49.75 for the ticket price. It was an additional $11.50 per ticket. For a whopping 23% incurred fee for convenience. Boo ,hiss. Thank you all. I shall now get off my soapbox.

I hear ya man. Add $5 per ticket for mail and it adds up to crazy. That being said I'm grateful to be going.

That's because you have entered the evil empire of Stan Kroenke. He owns the 1st bank, the pepsi center, dicks sporting goods field, etc. He established his own ticket broker in tickethorse so he figures he can charge whatever he wants. I hate that the default ticket delvery is the flash seats. If something comes up and you can't make it, it's hard to re-sell a flash seat ticket.

It boggles the mind! I just paid $13.50 in fees on an $85 ticket, x2. Wow, as if $85 wasn't enough, then they jack it up by another 16%. But, I'm thinking this one is worth the investment. I think last time I saw Levon (with Garth, Rick and Richard so you know it's been awhile), I'm not sure the ticket itself was much more than 13 bucks!

i have purposely not bought my phil tickets yet for that exact reason. it's ludicrous.

going to wait and grab them at the box office. a buddy of mine out there said they aren't charging fees at the box.

it's not even that much money it's more principle. these people are trying to make a few bucks off of everything, including the purchasing of tickets already.

it's not just tickethorse but apparently this dude has shit on lockdown up there.

I bet Saturday will sell out, maybe not, but I always feel better with tickets in hand. Do you all have Dicks sporting goods out there? They sell concert tix from kiosks but I don't know if the fees are included or not.

So you pulled floor tickets yesterday? From the ticket horse site?

**Edit-I just did a search and pulled 106, twice and 115 once. I was searching for 1 ticket not sure if that makes a difference.

Just wondering because I got mine weeks ago, paid the same convenience fees and pulled 116. Dosen't matter I am just happy to be going, but wondering if better seats are being pulled after I bought mine.
