We are entering Eagle time. Mating and nesting should begin soon. And they are preparing the old nest, and the new.

Thanks for the update. Really like the photos! Was out today checking out "my" local eagles (Falls Lake in central NC) in 2 locations saw a total of 3 adults and 1 juvy, although I've been seeing other juvys lately. We used to have a local camera but it got whacked in a storm a while back. They are usually too far away for decent photos, but I spend a lot of time watching them through binoculars. They are impressive birds.

All the latest info, seems to be indicating a preference for the new nest. Which is normal for the eagles,
but unfortunate for those of us who love to watch the nesting.
