An early version of Terrapin

#111414 2 years, 6 months ago

I can't come down, it's plain to see.
I can't come down, I've been set free.
Who you are, and what you do,
don't make no difference to me.

I remember seeing Robert Hunter perform "Terrapin" solo acoustic in Chicago. It had a number of extra lyrics and even entire stanzas from the "Terrapin" that we only know from the Grateful Dead.

The whole thing is actually a 9 song "Suite" Annotated Terrapin Suite

many of the songs from the suite are on Robert Hunter's "Jack O' Roses" album.... (which, I don't think was ever released as a CD, so it is kinda hard to find.)
