How Does Phil&Frnds compare to FURTHUR

#108275 2 years, 8 months ago
I went to see MIckeys band and while a good show there was somelthing distinctly missing that was tangible each time I"ve seen Furthur that sets them apart, balls to the wall improv, I dunno, the vibe of whole spectrum of generations tuning into the samething at one time. I wasnt' thinking of attending Broomfield but I do have the post show blues now somewhat though below that is a happiness and aliveness that I want more,, more more of. I"m hoping someone can say whether or not I should pull the trigger, and BTW I'm a Warren fan. $ are an issue but could swing it somehow I'm sure. Please help : )

Each band has their own unquie energy. And all grateful dead post bands are no different. Each sharing a different vibe of the dead community. Furthur is great and Phil and Friends are gonna be just as great but in their own and different way! Check it out!

Yeah I'm more psyced about this run than any in awhile. I actually like Furthur better, but the last time I saw phil and friends in 2008 was face melting good. Some of my friends went to xmas jam and are now making the trip to CO.

FF are you going to make it out there? It's a cheap flight or 12 hour drive.

FF this is my 3rd year in a row hitting Broomfield. It is always unbelievable, my favorite of the year. I have that pig pin for you as well. Now we just have to get bill to go.
