My next show will be Bobby solo. I'm looking forward to seeing him in New York.
Bobby, if you are reading, any shot of bringing back "The Monkey and the Engineer" or any of the other acoustic classics?
Katie Mae would be a nice tribute to Pigpen.
And while I'm dreaming, maybe a Ripple encore?
Whatever you decide to play, thank you for keeping the flame alive. The family appreciates it more than words can tell.
~Cause the kids WE NEED TO dance and shake OUR bones....
Black-Throated Wind I'd like to hear more then any but I'm up for anything he throws at us. I think he had a very nice selection of tunes he played at The Ramble and at Bearsville - there was a lot of stuff you wouldn't expect to hear acoustic, like the Other One, Mississippi Half-Step .... and he gave us a Ripple encore in Bearsville so you don't have to dream to hard for the possibility..... I saw his setlist at the Ramble (guy in the crowd next to me had it) and it had several songs that wern't performed cause they cut his set short including Dear Prudence, Hell in a Bucket and St. Stephen. There were others on the list but he did them in Bearsville, those 3 (which sound like they'd be great) were never performed.
