At least the picture is pretty funny.
I'm bummed. I just went to three weeks vacation this year. I was definitely going to use a week to do the Midwest shows.
Maybe in the fall.Wake now, discover that you are the song that the morning brings...-

Yep Steve, I suppose they can't be everywhere at one time....we will get our shows this fall/winter....I just really had my head set on some outdoor summer shows here, but i'm not surprised that we aren't getting them.....nine mile skid on a ten mile ride-

With All Good, Watkins Glen, DMB Chicago Fest, Electric Forest and Lollapalooza all scheduled just around these tour dates, I understand why they would wait for Sept and/or Oct/Nov for the Midwest. All these gigs are pretty accessible from Midwest locations.
It's easy to ties the Midwest together with a tour from either side of the country, and I also understand why they wouldn't want to be in the West in mid July with the desert sun.
Plus the Northeast will pony up and support 3 tours per year, just like always, if there's enough time between them. Just a lot more people over a smaller area.
Same as it ever was. -
