One thing to consider is that the cities on the east coast are much closer together, thus less time getting from point A to point B. The constant traveling gets old. Maybe if Deer Creek or Alpine Valley were not willing to book multiple nights then the band felt it was too long of a haul. Maybe the venues weren't prepared for a multiple night run. So many unknowns, but I'm absolutely positive it's not because the band is shunning the Midwestern fans, I guarantee it's logistics of some kind
Hey, I was hoping for a Midwest stop or two , but like someone else said, I am happy just to see DATES. I am not 71 or even close, but the two nights I just did in Florida kinda wore me a little thin. Just food for thought.

Enjoyed the couch tour this spring but can't wait to get out and see the friends and fam we're missin so much!

Frustrated or not, those of us from the MIDWEST will have to wait...

Still holding on to the idea that something "special" could go down here, in the MIDWEST

WE did get the Family Reunion, "back in the day"

I feel the pain of those from the midwest too- but honestly, its not like Furthur hasn't been here. I saw them last summer in Columbus, Ohio and then again last fall/winter in Cincinnati, Ohio. They also played in Chicago last fall/winter.

I still have a feeling we might get some additional dates, but if we don't, lets not act like they have completely dissed the midwest. Hey- they were just here!
