sorry for the negative vibes on such a big announcement day, but c'mon, this tour leg #1 is f*cking ridiculous.. Same states, same cities as the last 3 tours...

Yes, a bit disappointing no midwest dates. I love the east coast but wish they'd reach out to more people all over the country. The cost to keep traveling east for myself and many certainly can hurt my budget. It'd be nice to only have to travel to your backyard to see them. We'll see what the future brings, but I certainly feel bad for the many neglected, and who can't make the financial commitment to see them out east. I am grateful that they're still going, producing some great times for the ones who've been lucky to see them. I'll always smile on the memories of the shows I got to catch(NYE, Orpehum, Fox, upcoming Shoreline). Forever grateful either way. NFA....

Another geographic/weather related thing.. Why not tour out west in July when the weather is at it's maximum best?? Why tour down the East coast when the humidity is at its brutal peak??

So the west/colorado will get shows in September??? The weather is notoriously nasty then!

Yahoo! You just leave that Tour Manager alone! They were just there in the West. You guys get Furthur a lot. Let it be man! We like Furthur over here on the East Coast. Our beaches suck, compared to the West Coast...but Jones Beach...Yeehaw! Awesome! I am sooo happy right now! Mail Order? When do Internet Presales start and How do I become eligible for Internet Presales? Then they got all those southern shows. Well, I guess I am heading south for the summer. Yaye! I love the Dead! It does seem like they play out here more lately, I agree. Has to be tour logistics, financial constraints, or something like that.
