Anyone know of a good place to camp or stay near Bethel? Looks like the closest chain hotels are more than 20 miles away. Any good info is appreciated. Thanks

There really isn't too much. For hotels, check out the Monticello area. About 10 miles away. Also, there are some motels, and lots of
campgrounds on the Delaware river, about 20 miles south.

We just reserved a room yesterday at the Econolodge in Monticello...kind of expensive for "econo"...10 miles from Bethel so they say...we're coming down from NH...see you all there! Peace.

Well this is a sad state of affairs- looked into lodging in and around the area--but the sad thing is they don't have much to offer and what they do have is sooooooo overpriced!!!! also alot of places want you to spend a 2 nite minimum if you can find availability!! they know it is a small area and they stick it to you!! i will probably end up driving to Bing to spend the nite! SAD!
i am thinking that i might take dancingsinginggirl up on her offer---we are nice!
