Are they still around and playing together - the same 3 guys? One of my college buddies played this nonstop on his bass. I probably know every riff to 'Tom Sawyer '

Saw them a couple of years ago, and they still got it.

Same 3, Alex, Neil, and Geddy.

Over 40 years together, quite a feat.

Haven't missed a tour since I first saw them on the Permanent Waves tour.
Takin' it in stride!

Not only are they still together, they STILL fill arenas all over the country and parts of South America and Europe. They were the best selling arena band for the year 2010.
Watch the Rush in Rio DVD and get a feel for what those crowds think of Rush. Really truly amazing esp. Closer to the Heart.
Yes they have changed appreciably over the years, and many will say they like the older stuff but not the new. I am opposite. I relish the growth and sophistication of the new stuff.
But I digress on this Furthur forum and I appreciate the tolerance. I am no less than totally impressed by this band. Amazed, actually. I missed out on seeing the Dead...nobody's fault but my own (who knew they were so good?) I guess the army of deadheads knew. Oh well-I am making up for it as much as I can.
Rush on...Furthur!
